Greenacres Learning Center is licensed by the Palm Beach County Health Department and meets or exceeds all requirements of their regulations.  A copy of the Palm Beach County Health Department rules and regulations is kept in our teacher resource library. Staff member you are required to know and follow all of these rules and regulations.

Greenacres Learning Center upholds an anti-discrimination policy in its workplace and in our daily dealings with our customers.  All individuals are treated equally in all aspects of our business practices.  We will make reasonable accommodations for the disabled if there is not adequate means available within our facility.

The director provides leadership to a preschool by completely involved in every aspect of the facility, staff, and program.  The goal is to constantly maintain an educational, safe and clean environment of a very high quality and to produce an active learning environment at all times.

Our goals and services are based on two fundamental philosophical principles:  the belief in the innate worth of the aged and disabled individual and the belief that each individual, regardless of age, race, color, creed, sex, national origin or handicap(s) is entitled to maximize his potential as a human being and as a member of society.

 It is the contention of Greenacres Learning Center that the aging process is a normal state in the development of any individual and that chronic disease and disability are, to some degree, a part of that process.  Greenacres Learning Center is dedicated to assisting aged and disabled individuals within the confines of abilities, in order that they may maximize their contributions and fulfill their goals as a family member and member of society with a minimum of conflict.  In accomplishing this end, it is felt that the self-respect of the individual can and will be enhanced.
